Today we fished Shasta Lake again and we found a pretty good bite first thing in the morning.  We had the whole lake to ourselves, and although it was pretty smokey, we enjoyed a great day of fishing.  Its been the case that the bite dies down quickly, but if you keep at it the bites will come sooner or later.  We trolled spoonsand stick baits all day and we saw the rods bouncing up until we pulled lines at 2:00.
