Captains Justin Thompson and Kenny Turner ran client trips down river today and found some great Kings! Its time to see bigger numbers of Kings filling the holes in the lower river, but its just not quite there yet. We have the full moon light for these Kings to push into the sysyem, so its just an any moment kind of a scenerio we're looking at every day now. Its go time!! Soon there will be big bright kings crowding into every stretch of the Sacramento River and we're ready! Starting the 19th, we'll have 3 boats on the river daily and we'll be on top of the best King salmon fishing through the season closure on December 16th. Start thinking about your October salmon trip dates and late fall salmon trips that will begin early to mid November.
