Quality over quantity is an age old phrase and it absolutely applies to late fall King salmon on the Sacramento River.  We've hooked late fall Kings the past few days and had some takedowns that didn't stick as well.  Thats a good indicator that the late fall salmon have started to stage below Battle Creek and Coleman National Fish Hatchery.  Late fall kings race up the Sacramento river and are in prime shape when they arrive in Anderson, Ca.  This salmon fishery will be open until December 16th when salmon season closes until next July.  That leave river salmon fishing fans about 3 good weeks of fishing ahead before the 2019 season will end.  With a team of four river fishing charter captains, we can accomodate many requests for fishing trips in the coming weeks. Call Jaynie at our office (530) 510-2925, to book your late fall Sacramento River King salmon fishing trip. Thank you!
