Today we got after it at first light and it wasn't long before Jim had a nice rainbow trout bending his rod.  We had a lull after the morning bite and fished several areas of Shasta Lake.  The McCloud arm was windy early but laid down in the afternoon and we got after the rest of our bites there.  Fish high for the trout, they're up top for us and for everyone I talked to today.  March and April are the prime months for borwn trout trips on Shasta Lake!
