Greetings from Lake Miramar right here in the Sahara Desert. Plain and simple its just not the perfect fishing weather this week. You have to get out early but its done by 9 am. The sundown bite has actually been better from about 7-8 pm. We had a big 5 pound largemouth bass caught this week on a shad lure in the deepest part of the lake around 7:30pm. A 4 pound catfish was also caught at sundown. The bluegill bite continues to be decent with live night crawlers working best. Hoping for it to cool down this week.
