Striped Bass: The striper bite has remained a bit stagnant with few fish reported. If you prefer to target this species we would suggest using deeper diving hard baits or even trolling throughout the lake in hopes to connect to one of these beauties.
Bluegill: Bluegill has been medium to slow action across from the Marina. Very possible to break wide open in the right now Fishign with mealworms or crickets.
Catfish: Slowed a bit this week but still catches being reported near the inlet. The lake’s water level is very low so the current has slowed near the inlet for catfish. Use chicken liver or anchovies for best results.
Largemouth Bass: A few regulars have reported decent jerk bait fishing. Another successful bait of recent has been the good ole Senko, wacky rig preferred.
Trout: Last trout stock was February 9th with trout stock every 2 weeks. For best erects try to come target trout as soon as possible after a deliver of fresh fish. A minijig/ ultra lite combo is hard to beat on a stock day.
