Pedro is still fishing kind of tough for quality fish. Water temp has been 55-57. Seeing lots of small fish cruising the banks. I’ve been targeting the 10-20ft range for better fish throwing underspins, Jerkbaits, and finesse style jigs like a hula grub on a 3/8 jig head or 1/2 and if I have to throw a nail weighted senko I will in natural Shad color or green pumpkin. 3 pounders are really good fish on Pedro right now. I’ve had a couple good days throwing reaction but you must read what they want. If they aren’t on the reaction you must slow down. Big ones will eat a worm as well. I’ve been concentrating on main lake and upper Bay Area of the lake. Switch it up throughout the day. Steep banks, long points, saddles, guts. March is going to be a interesting month seeing how the fish react to the weather we have coming. Quality fish are around the spawning areas looking around. The males are ready to get things rolling and I’m sure a few females will do there thing. I have days free for a trip give me a call or shoot me a text!
