Jackson Meadows Reservoir has lower than normal water levels currently, but the fishing is good. Water temperatures are more favorable for the fish here because it is higher in elevation. Anglers are having success fishing for browns and rainbows on the west end of the reservoir. Anybody trolling should try using rapalas, worms, kastmasters, or sierra spoons behind a dodger. Shore Anglers are also having some success fishing the north side of the reservoir near the dam using a powerbait, worms, or panther martins.
