Striped Bass: Fishing reported similar to last week however, the striper bite has picked up  bit. Cut baits have been working best this past weekend best bite is still early morning hours throughout the lake.

Bluegill: High action for bluegill using mealworms or crickets. Mini jigs tipped with worms or crickets. Also, use a small bb split shot and wait for the strike on the fall.

Catfish: Catfish re still very slow this past week. The lakes water level continues to rise. Use chicken liver, mackerel or anchovies for best results.

Largemouth Bass: Largemouth bass have also picked up a bit. Some angels shave reported a pretty decent bite again though the lake using roboworms.

Trout: Last trout stock was January 18th.

Striped Bass: The striper bite has remained a bit stagnant with few fish reported. If you prefer to target this species we would suggest using deeper diving hard baits or even trolling throughout the lake in hopes to connect to one of these usually ferocious fish. Best bite is still early morning hours and later afternoon, throughout the lake. Bluegill: High action for bluegill using meal worms or crickets in the reeds.
