The lake is down and fishing is excellent. Walleye and carp fishing has been good and should continue until temps really climb. Bass fishing is really just starting to heat up with some sporadic white bass and wipers reported recently. Carp fishing with corn or dough bait during the warmest part of the day remains best while Walleye continue to show up throughout the day. Catfishing has been good from dusk till dawn. Bass fishing along the sandy beaches will continue to be best in the afternoons until we see water temperatures really climb. White and chartreuse are two of the best producing colors at Lahontan in flies and lures.
