Planning to visit Lake Mead sometime soon? Be sure to include the Lake Mead Hatchery Visitor Center in your plans. Today for Wildlife Wednesday we get a sneak peak at the newly updated Visitor Center and the information it shares about the facility’s history and how it fits in with that of Lake Mead. Visitors also have the chance to learn about the hatchery’s rather important role in the conservation of fish native to the Colorado River. Have you ever heard of the Razorback Sucker or the Bonytail?
Drop by the Visitor Center and learn more. Until then, take a look.
