The release from Lost Creek Reservoir is in the 1,048 cfs vicinity. Dodge Bridge is around 1,200 cfs but may drop as there is little rain in the forecast.
Chinook fishing is closed in the upper Rogue. Artificial flies and lures only between Fishers Ferry and Shady Cove boat ramp Nov. 1-Dec. 31.
Hatchery summer steelhead are available. A few new summer steelhead were collected at Cole Rivers Hatchery last week bringing the season total to2,988.
Coho swim-ins at Cole Rivers Hatchery slowed a bit last week but they are still coming, bringing the season total to 1,484. Pulling plugs or twitching jigs are both good tactics when low and cold. Only adipose-clipped coho may be harvested.
Trout fishing is also open in the Rogue with a daily bag limit of 5 adipose fin-clipped (hatchery) trout. Anglers are encouraged to harvest they hatchery trout. Wild trout must be immediately released unharmed.
Anglers are asked to avoid wading and fishing near salmon redds.
