Road access and the gate to Ashurst Lake is closed for the winter at the FH3 (Lake Mary road)/FR 82E road junction. Only boats with a 10-horsepower motor or less are allowed on Ashurst Lake. The limit is 4 trout. It is likely that the lake is completely ice covered.
