Hat Creek continues to fish really well is fishing. Mostly the fish in the flats are eating midges and some PMDs, and in the riffle there are some Yellow Sallies and Grannom Caddis happening here and there. The downstream sections are beginning to see more Caddis coming off, the Goldens are popping as well. Throw on a Chubby Chernobyl and drop a Bird's Nest or cinnamon Poopah underneath, this is a solid combo. Yellow Sallies are on the menu up on the Powerhouse 2 Riffle along with Baetis, PMD's, Gray Drakes and Grannom Caddis in the flats below. It's a smorgasbord, if you would like to head hunt, Rusty Spinners and Parachute or plain old Adams in #14 - 18 should have you covered for the most part.
Hot Flies: TB Drowned Rusty Spinner, Rubberlegs, Sweet Pea Jigged Baetis, Pheasant Tails, Mercer's Missing Link, and Green Drakes
