The lake dropped to 11 percent of capacity, and the spotted bass bite has been on fire. Anglers using finesse baits in 10 to 25 feet of water reported 25+ fish days. The quality hasn't been great, but there were several reports of “bass thumb”. Drop shot, Ned rigs, and small jigs all got bit, and green pumpkin, baitfish, and Ox Blood produced well. Crappie took small live minnows over rock piles, and catfish anglers used dip baits and chicken liver for decent results.
