Pit 3 down to the Pit 5 powerhouse is still fishing great. Some October Caddis are coming off in the upper reaches. Baetis are coming off in greater numbers, Caddis are as well on warmer days. Bird's Nests in #14 & 16, Amberwing Prince Nymphs, and any and all of the Perdigons are working well. You can likewise get after it with your Euro rod with any of your favorite BWO nymphs. With some hoppers around, a hopper-dropper setup can be exciting. Be careful, though! This can be a slippery river to wade.
Be aware that the flows on the Pit can and will change without notice, so definitely check before you go! And be prepared to get out when the river begins to rise.
