The lake is closed for fishing and to the general public on weekdays throughout the fall, as it is every year. We will return to our seven day a week schedule in mid- December at the beginning of trout season. Catfish can be found throughout the lake but seem to favor either end. A small sampling of DFW trout went in two weeks ago, but our first real trout stock probably won’t occur until mid- December.
