The lake rose rapidly to 42 percent of its maximum capacity, and fishing remained fair. Bass anglers used patients and finesse baits in green pumpkin, crawfish, and bluegill to boat fish. Some bass were also taken with deep diving crankbaits and vertical spoons. Catfish anglers reported more fishing than catching while soaking dip baits and cut baits, and crappie were on the slow side. There was a trout plant scheduled for the week of February 25th.
