Stocking: Another 1,500 pounds of Rainbow Trout from Idaho went into the lake this week. DFW also brought us an additional 2,300 pounds this season bringing our total stock for the year to 19,800 pounds. The LAST stocking of 1,500 pounds of Rainbow Trout will be the week of April 15th. Stay tuned for information regarding Catfish Opener.

What’s the Catch? Despite the rain, anglers made trout limits trolling the dam buoy line with Rapala lures last weekend. Another boat came back with 10 trout slow trolling nightcrawlers in front of the t-dock. Limits were also reeled in along the Hermit buoy line on orange Powerbait. Dockhands saw multiple bass pulled in Cloister Cove including the 8-pounder pictured above. It was reported they were biting on jerkbaits. No reports of panfish or catfish this weekend.

Conditions: With the water draw, be aware of exposed and submerged structure while boating. See details about the lake draw below. The current water temperature is 64 degrees. The next New Moon is April 8th. The sun is rising at 6:31 a.m. and setting at 7:11 p.m.
