The Fall river has been fishing well. There are lots of fish in the river and they are spread out. Our top flies have been hot head balanced leeches, jigged leeches, red zebra midges, red rainbow warriors, and two-bits. There has been a pretty consistent hatch of BWOs starting about midday on overcast days and lasting until about 2:30 so having a good selection of BWO dries on you would be wise. Streamers like sculpzillas, slump busters sparkle minnows have also been picking up good numbers of fish, and a good way at targeting the larger class fish. The waters around the hatchery and campground have been getting pretty crowded so don't be afraid to branch out and explore some spots you haven't fished before. Remember that the waters below the falls remain closed until May 22.
