Nevada's Free Fishing Day is Saturday, June 8. This is the one day of the year you can fish any public water in the state without a fishing license. If you have never been fishing, Free Fishing Day is the day to get out and try it!
In this week's Nevada Wild, Aaron Keller sits down with NDOW Educators Nicole Hamblin, Jan Nemec and Abbey Czarnecki to talk about all of the fun Free Fishing Day events happening across the state, how you can volunteer, fishing conditions, and how kids 12-17 years old can receive a fishing license from the Nevada Youth License Fund.
