Currently flows out of Box Canyon are a little over 800 cfs. The water has been a little off color due to an algae bloom on the west end of the reservoir, do not wet wade in it. The Box is still fishing really good early and late in the days. running dry droppers such as Chubbies,in size 8s and 10’s with a Duracell, Olive Bullet Quill or zebra midge a couple of feet under it. The Ranch Section has been slow this past week but there still are a few fish out there eating. Try a Lawsons or a juicy hopper, ants and beetles of your choice. You have to work for em but we still are getting a few. Warm river to Ashton has remained consistent. Hopper dropper rigs are still the most consistent and reliable way to get fish on this section. Chubbies, Hoppers, rubber legs, bullet quills and zebra midges are about all you need on this section and catch fish. Don’t forget your streamer boxes for those cloudy afternoons we have been having. Use a Rusty trombone, Little Kims or zonkers.
