Water Conditions: Clear and cold with water temps in the upper 40's
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Not much changing here from week to week. Water warming some. Fish are more active. Look for fish cruising in shallow warmer water.
Recommended Flies:
Dries: Griffith's Gnat #20-22, Parachute Adams #20, Brook's Sprout Midge #20-22, Flying Ants
Nymphs: Black Zebra Midge #20-22, Olive Bird's Nest #18, Hare's Ear #16-18, Pheasant Tail #18, Callibaetis Nymphs
Streamers: Doc's Twin Lakes Special Black or Olive #10-12, Pop's Bugger Olive, Rickard's Seal Bugger, Beldar Bugger Black, Crystal Bugger Black/Olive, Olive Matuka
Guides Hint: Trail your streamers with a nymph, like a Bird's Nest, Hare's Ear, or a Pheasant Tail.

Hot Creek: Caddis flies are the key to fishing on Hot Creek
Crowley Lake: Midge Hatches are good at Crowley, Green Bank's is the "hot" area
Owens River: The Crowley fish are gone, and the Uper Owens has slowed as a result
Crowley Lake: Crowley is producing the usual Ranibows & Browns but there are also some real pig perch to be had
Owens River: The Upper Owens is very slow right now
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge should be fishing good right now, however we do not have any specific reports
Rock Creek - Below Britton: Great fishing at Rock Creek
Owens River: Recent flows have slowed the fishing & the bug activity on the Lower Owens
Bridgeport Reservoir: This is a good time to be fishing Bridgeport Reservoir
East Walker River (CA): Very good fishing on the East Walker

for Monday, May 28th, 2012Mammoth Lakes : All the lakes in the Mammoth Basin are now fishable
Hot Creek: On Hot Creek use Midges early & caddis from mid-morning on
Crowley Lake: Crowley is fishing great, nymphs and streamers are the ticket
Owens River: The water has cleared on the Upper Owens but the fishing is just fair
Owens River: The flows are perfect in the Gorge and the fishing is good
Owens River: Water Skiing would be better than fishing on the Lower Owens as the flows are too high
Bridgeport Reservoir: Fishing is great at Bridgeport, but the fish are spread out until the weeds come
East Walker River (CA): Fishing is still good on the East Walker as the flows have been consistent
