The flows are very low at Rush Creek but the fishing is still good

Water Conditions: Fair as of 7/11 flows are bottoming out at 10 cfs above Grant Lake

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Good the water is Gin clear, so be sure to use lighter tippet and be stealthy. Stick mainly to attractor patterns.

Recommended Flies:

DRIES: Royal Wulff #14-16, Kaufman Stimulator 16, Parachute Adams #16, Yellow Humpy #16, Royal Coachman #16, Rubber Leg Stimulator, Fat Albert #14

NYMPHS: Copper John #18, BH Prince Nymph #18, Stocker's BH Lightning Bug #18.

Guides Hint: Once you find a working fly keep moving, there are lots of fish stacked up in the pools.

Mammoth Lakes : The fish are more active in the Mammoth Lakes area because of warming water
Hot Creek: Dry Flies are the ticket on Hot Creek right now, Tricos in the AM & Caddis in the PM

Mammoth Lakes : Fishing is on the improve in the Mammoth Lakes basin
Hot Creek: Hot Creek has an AM Trico hatch, an afternoon Caddis hatch & it's Hopper time
San Joaquin River: It's a great time to fish the San Joaquin right now
Crowley Lake: Zero hatches at Crowley so use larve patterns
Owens River: Tricos and Caddis are the ticket on the Upper Owens
Owens River: Fishing is good at the Owens River Gorge, but you must be steathy
Rock Creek - Section 1: Rock Creek is an excellent place to fish right now
Rush Creek: There are lots of fish in Rush Creek
Owens River: High flows on the Lower Owens means there are better places to fish at this time
Bridgeport Reservoir: Streamers and midge patterns work best at Bridgeport Reservoir
East Walker River (CA): Fishing can be on again, off again on the East Walker
