There were no trout reported to the ranger station this week.

Bass action was slow again this week. Only one nice bass was reported to the staff this week???the fish topped 8 pounds.

NIGHT FISHING SEASON HAS BEGUN!!!

Catfish season is back on track. The bite was very good this week. The crowds were heavy for the first weekend of night fishing. Most of the fish are between 1-3 pounds. Mackerel and anchovies are working best. There are good numbers of fish being taken out at the Buoy Line. The shoreline by the boat dock is producing good numbers of fish. The fish were also biting well during the daylight hours. WE WILL NO LONGER BE OPEN ON THURSDAY NIGHTS. The lake will be open from 5 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. for night fishing on these two days only. Boat rental rates will be $20 for motor boats and $12 for row boats. Rental boats will be called in at 10:45 p.m. as always. No alcohol or gas lanterns are allowed.
