Water Conditions: Flows are at 10cfs as of 7/24. The water is clear but it can be weedy(depending on the afternoon rain storms).

Fishing Conditions and Hatches: The fishing on Hot Creek is only OK. With the recent rain/thunderstorms the flow will go up making the water a little dirty. Use colorful shiney flies.

DRIES:
chernobyl, cdc ant, parachute adams, elk hair caddis, parachute caddis, e/c caddis, Hemingway special, Henryville special, clown shoe caddis, parachute emerger caddis, missing link, sloan's outrigger caddis, parachute ant, baby boy hopper, griffith gnat, stream bank hopper

NYMPHS: rubber leg copper johns, wd40, buckskin, deep six caddis pupa, fox's poopah, nitro caddis, bead diving caddis, sparkle pupa, juju baetis, rainbow warrior, pocket water baetis, lighting bug, rainbow warrior

STREAMERS: ...weeds are high & water is to low to pull streamers

Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The increased water level has caused the fish to move -- time to explore!
Twin Lakes (Bridgeport): The fishing at Twin Lakes in Bridgeport is excellent. Not much size but lots of fish.
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Reservoir is fishing great but the water level & water temp could change things quickly
Arrowhead Lake (Mammoth Lakes): Get out early to fish Arrowhead Lake in the Mammoth area
Skelton Lake: Skelton Lake is really fishing well but the bite drops off after 9 AM
Barney Lake: Fishing at Barney Lake in the Mammoth Lakes area is fair to good
Mammoth Lakes Basin: On the Mammoth Basin Lakes; Dry flies work in the AM & stramers work later in the day
