The Huntington Reservoir is still open water. On Nov. 11, Tom Ogden and three other fly anglers fished for six hours from kick boats. The group caught a total of 54 fish. The tiger trout ranged from 13 to 20 inches in length. The group used medium- or fast-sinking line and sizes 4 to 8 wooly buggers and leech patterns in green, red and black. Tom saw other anglers catching fish from boats and the shore. Aquatics Biologist Calvin Black recommends using something bright, like a gold Jakes.
