El Capitan is on its winter schedule. All persons entering reservoir property must purchase a day use permit. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Monday – fishing and general boating only, NO water contact. Sunday – fishing, general boating and water contact (water-skiing, wakeboarding, jetskiing, etc.) Tuesdays and Wednesdays the lake is completely closed. El capitan will switch to it's summer program starting May 7, 2015.
