Kathy Jo Martinez and a party of anglers floated the lower Green a week ago. She report good fishing for catfish. The largest fish weighed seven pounds and was caught using rotten salad shrimp anchored to the bottom with a lead weight. Her group also had success with commercial stink bait. The water is running fast, so you'll likely find the best fishing in slow backwaters and eddies.
