The water temperature is 69 degrees, water level is up a few feet. Striper: Medium Action: Striper can be caught over in the coves by Launch Ramp 2 and by the Inlet. Various types of bait have been used, mostly cut baits. Also try night crawlers and chicken liver. Blue Gill: Slow Action: Blue Gill have been spawning in the shallow waters. Try using plastic worms, wax worms and live crickets over near Launch Ramp 1 across from the Marina. Catfish: Slow Action: Catfish have been slow the past couple of weeks, would take patience and hard work to produce some of our Cats right now. Anchovies, chicken liver and garlic shrimp work best for these beauties.. Large Mouth: Medium Action: Largemouth Bass have been pretty moderate top waters using flukes and jerk baits out on the points. Trout: No Action: The final Trout plant was March 22, 2017.. Carp: Medium Action: Plenty of big fat carp ready to catch. Nightcrawlers have been working best, along the banks.

Striper: Medium Action: Strong flow from the Inlet has made this the Striper hang out, and can be caught on various types of bait: shad, anchovies, and chicken liver.
