Captain Justin Thompson checked in today after guiding a fly fishing trip on the Trinity River.  Justin reported a slower than expected day with his fly anglers going 1 for 2 on Triniry River steelhead.  One hooked steelhead on a fly is an accomplishment, especially with our summer weather conditions in the north state.  If we dont get any more rain in the weeks ahead, fishing the Sacramento River will be anyones best bet for catching trout and steelhead until fall.
