Stampede Reservoir is fishing well near the dam for rainbows, cutthroat, bass and next year’s kokanee as well. The trout are fishing around 20-30 feet of water and the kokanee are around 45 feet. Shore anglers should try using black and green rooster tails, cripplures, or crawdad patterns. Anybody trolling should try using rapalas, humdingers, needle fish, or speedy shiners.
