It’s still very warm out and the fish know what to do at this point. The bass are jumping for shad in the mornings through calm water. Throw top water bait like frogs and shiner looking rubber. Bluegill have moved out of the coves into the deeper waters 4th the mouths. Good Luck.

We are easy to get to just minutes off the 15 freeway. Take advantage of our fully stocked bait shop with all your tackle needs and live worms. Fishing slowed a little bit this week but bass have been good in early morning, moving deep as soon as the sun comes out. The best has been best near the fishing docks. The bass are still biting in this warm weather in the middle of August. They are biting on the top water with crank baits and flicker shads. Splash the bait around on top and see what happens. The Texas rig with the plastic robo both green and purple are working well. Catfish continue to bite on the bottom with dough bait and cut mackerel.
