Fishing has been fair at Hart Park, and bass anglers have been working hard for bites. The good news is that the weeds have been dying back which allowed anglers to use more techniques. One Hart Park regular reported caching three bass up to five pounds on eight-inch swimbaits and glide baits. Other anglers used Senkos, Texas rigs, and creature baits fished slowly near the dying weed beds for bites. Darker colors like purple, black, and dark brown have been getting attention lately. Catfish went for chicken liver, nightcrawlers, and cut baits, and bluegill will eat any live worm fished under a bobber.
