Crappie have been the best bet at BV lately with anglers scoring limits on minijigs. Anglers reported finding the crappie holding over submerged structure with successful anglers using Get Bent Minijigs and small live minnows for bites. Those same baits also worked well on the largemouth in the lake, as warmer weather improved the bass bite. Bass anglers also reported decent fishing on drop shot and Senkos. Catfish went for Trippel S Dip bait with some real monsters hitting the scales. Trout anglers picked away at the last of the trout with dough baits and minijigs.
