The pond is stocked with trout from February through May. It will be stocked this week with about 850 trout. In the spring and summer anglers can also pursue bass, bluegill and crappie.
This pond is located inside EE Wilson Wildlife Area. To get to it requires a 1/3-mile hike from the parking area. It has three newly installed fishing piers including one that is ADA compliant.
A parking permit is required, and one can be purchased online or at any ODFW office.
