Flows on the South Fork of the Humboldt are up due to snowfall at the higher elevations of the Ruby Mountains last week and unseasonably warm weather. As of June 10, the South Fork of the Humboldt was flowing at 190 cfs which is well below the median of 550 cfs for this time of year. While flows are up it is still fishable and anglers can expect fair fishing above the reservoir with the best fishing being below the dam. With the warmer weather, Mayflies are starting to hatch and anglers can start using emergers and dries.
