Fishing has been fair at Lake Success, and anglers reported finding biting fish in deeper water. Drop shot, jigs, and shaky heads scored bites on main lake points and over submerged structure. Anglers also reported metering schools of largemouth in 30 feet of water. It might be time to break out the spoons. Catfish anglers used dip bait, chicken liver, and cut baits for bites. Trout anglers are still waiting for the first plant of the season, and we’ll let you know when it happens.
