Bass fishing has been good for anglers using Senkos, flipping baits, and topwater frogs. The key has been to fish the baits close to the cattails and weeds. Flipping a jig right into the weed and cattail pockets has been fooling the bigger bass. Topwater is working early and later in the day. Catfish have been decent, but most of them are on the smaller side. They have been eating cut baits, and nightcrawlers. Crappie took minijigs and small live minnows, and bluegill are biting redworms, meal worms, and wax worms.
