Kaweah fell to 50 percent of capacity and fishing remained decent. Spotted bass took poppers and Whopper Ploppers at first light. After that stick baits, drop shot, and Ned rigs worked for bites in 10 to 20 feet of water. The Peoples Worm, Aaron’s Magic, and Green Pumpkin have been fooling fish. Catfish took garlic scented nightcrawlers, cut baits, and Triple S dip bait. Crappie anglers worked their offerings over submerged brush with small live minnows, small swimbaits, and crappie jigs fooling the sunfish.
