Dirty water and lower flows kept striper anglers from landing big numbers of fish, but that could change soon. When the water clears striped bass anglers should be ready with cut baits, jumbo live minnows, and live worms. In the meantime, striped bass were reported by anglers throwing topwater, white jerkbaits, cut baits, and Flukes. Bass anglers used finesse baits in slowing moving water for a few bites, and catfish ate dip bait, chicken liver, and cut sardines.
