Isabella dropped to 40 percent of capacity and continues to release water. The bass action remains excellent from the shoreline. Most of the fish have been on the smaller side, but the larger ones are starting to show more frequently. Anglers have been scoring bass with 4-inch Keitechs, drop shot, small jigs, square bill and shallow crankbaits. The crappie bite continues to be steady in the marina with small shad jigs and live shiners. The trout action is steady in the North Fork and around the dams. Boaters trolling leadcore with Needlefish, Tasmanian Devils and Flicker Shad have been scoring larger trout. Catfish are showing more this week. They are being caught in the late hours with frozen shad, SSS Dip Bait and nightcrawlers.
