The Lower Deschutes, especially from Warm Springs to Trout Creek, is producing good results, both with nymphs and swung flies. Stonefly nymphs, eggs, and caddis pupa are all getting attention. Steelhead anglers should focus on swinging deeper with skagit lines and sink tips. Intruders and classic steelhead flies like Green Butt Skunks or other darker flies with blue and purple are solid choices.
