Flows are very high right now on the Lower Owens, it might be best to fish elsewhere

Water Conditions: Poor, flows up to 509 cfs as of 6/24.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: With the flows up over 500 cfs now it's probably not a bad idea to fish somewhere else, or go down below bishop to where the river is wider with no banks. Wet wading in the slow water must be nice when the temps are in the 90's and 100's! Just be careful.

NYMPH: Cranefly Larva, Kyle's Superflash PT #18-20, Micromayfly Olive #18, Micromayfly Brown #18, , BH Flashback Pheasant Tail #16-18, Zebra Midge #18-22, Medallion Midge #20, Fox's Caddis Poopah Tan #18, San Juan Worm, Real Midge 20(Dry or wet)
DRIES: Brook's Sprout Baetis #18, CDC Baetis DUN #16-18, Headlight Yellow Sally #18, Elk Hair Caddis Tan #14-20, CDC Baetis DUN #18-20, Parachute Caddis Grey #18-20, Parachute Adams #18-20
STREAMERS: Pop's Bugger, Olive Doc's Twin Lake Special, Flashabou Buggers

Hot Creek: Caddis flies are the key to fishing on Hot Creek
Crowley Lake: Midge Hatches are good at Crowley, Green Bank's is the "hot" area
Owens River: The Crowley fish are gone, and the Uper Owens has slowed as a result
Crowley Lake: Crowley is producing the usual Ranibows & Browns but there are also some real pig perch to be had
Owens River: The Upper Owens is very slow right now
Owens River: The Owens River Gorge should be fishing good right now, however we do not have any specific reports
Rock Creek - Below Britton: Great fishing at Rock Creek
Owens River: Recent flows have slowed the fishing & the bug activity on the Lower Owens
Bridgeport Reservoir: This is a good time to be fishing Bridgeport Reservoir
East Walker River (CA): Very good fishing on the East Walker
