Fishing on Rush Creek will run from fair to good

Water Conditions: Water conditions are good and the flows are at 34 cfs as of 7/03 below Grant lake to hwy 395. The flows are 76 cfs as of 7/03 in between Silver Lake and Grant Lake.
Fishing Conditions and Hatches: Rush creek is fishing fair to good. Dry fly fishing will be better in the wild trout section near the highway. General reg. section(between silver lake and grant lake) is fishing well. A lot more water in this section so nymphing and dead drifting streamers is recommended. fyi-DFG plant heavily in this section so a lot of conventional fishermen will be at this section.
Recommended Flies:
DRIES: cdc flying ant, parachute adams, extended body bwo, chernobyl, stimulators, elk hair caddis, griffith gnat, parachute caddis, sierra brite dot, royal wulff, hatch matcher
NYMPHS: #18 superflash pheasant tail, #16 deep six caddis, bird of prey, #18 caddis candy, #18 Nori's caddis pupa, bird of prey, san juan, variety of midges, #16 bh prince nymphs, #16 sizzlin red squirrel, #18 zug bug, #18 wd40
STREAMERS: goat leech, Carey bugger, Crystal bugger, Sheep Creek Special, BH Pop's Bugger

Hot Creek: It is time to throw some Hoppers at Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: Dry Fly fishing is "off the hook" on the San Joaquin River
Crowley Lake: Anglers are averaging 2 to 3 fish in the 18" range
Owens River: The water is off color on the Upper Owens which is affecting the fishing
Owens River: Mornings and evening are the best times to fish the Owens River Gorge
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The water level is high at Pleasant Valley, most of the fish moved to the stream section
Rock Creek - Section 1: Use dry flies on the Rock creek & streamers in Rock lake
Rush Creek: Dry fly fishing will be better in the Rush Creek wild trout section near the highway
Owens River: The Lower Owens is good to go for Dry flies early & late
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Reservoir is very low right now
East Walker River (CA): It is definitely hopper time on the East Walker!!
