High temps are affecting the fishing on the East Walker, best to fish early and late

Water Conditions: Flows up to 110cfs as of 7/03.
Fishing Conditions and Hatch: The flows are changing constantly and water temps are going up, really slowing down the fishing. Early, early morning and very late evening are the best times. still not much surface action until the last hour of light, better chances with nymphing. Make sure to change depth in each different section.
RECOMMENDED FLIES:
DRIES: elk hair caddis, yellow sally, parachute adams, parachute caddis, mini hot garcia's, chernobyl, parachute kicking hopper, foam hopper, pearl butt trico spinner, hackle stacker, extended body bwo
NYMPHS: #18 pocket water baetis, #18 cdc emerging baetis, #18 kingrey cold turkey baetis, #16 two bit hooker, #18 superflash pheasant tail, micro may, sulphur emerger, 316 sparkle pupa, #16 mighty may sloan, copper johns, prince nymphs, #14 caddistrophic, #16 fox's poopah, #18 little brown bug, tungsten psycho
STREAMERS: marabou leech, bh sparkle leech, wounded sculpin, meatwhistle, Matuka, Belly Ache, Mini Sculpin, Crystal bugger, Sheep Creek Special

for Sunday, June 30th, 2013Mammoth Lakes Basin: Fishing on Mammoth Lakes will vary from Good to Great depending on the weather
Hot Creek: It is time to throw some Hoppers at Hot Creek
San Joaquin River: Dry Fly fishing is "off the hook" on the San Joaquin River
Crowley Lake: Anglers are averaging 2 to 3 fish in the 18" range
Owens River: The water is off color on the Upper Owens which is affecting the fishing
Owens River: Mornings and evening are the best times to fish the Owens River Gorge
Pleasant Valley Reservoir: The water level is high at Pleasant Valley, most of the fish moved to the stream section
Rock Creek - Section 1: Use dry flies on the Rock creek & streamers in Rock lake
Rush Creek: Dry fly fishing will be better in the Rush Creek wild trout section near the highway
Owens River: The Lower Owens is good to go for Dry flies early & late
Bridgeport Reservoir: Bridgeport Reservoir is very low right now
East Walker River (CA): It is definitely hopper time on the East Walker!!
