With cooler temps in the air, the fishing has been good. Truckee River is being released from Tahoe around 120 CFS. Anglers are fishing well with caddis, blue winged olives, october caddis, and there is some streamer fishing as well now that the water is up. Euro nymphing and indicator nymphing are also proving to be successful methods for anglers as well.
FLOWS: Tahoe City 124 CFS, Glenshire 129 CFS, Boca Confluence 425 CFS, and Farad Exit 462 CFS
RECOMMENDED GEAR:
Bugs: Caddis, October Caddis, Blue Winged Olives, Streamers, Midges
Gear: 9′-11′ 5-7wt rod with 9′-12′ 5x leader
