The Truckee River has flows consistent with last week, but water temperatures are increasing. Morning and evening conditions are best right now for both spin and fly anglers, and as the day warms up, anglers should pay attention to the water temperatures. Oxygen levels are lower in warmer water and anglers should make sure they are fishing in temperatures that are not harmful to the fish. Some recommended flies for anglers to try right now include tan, black, and olive caddis size 14-16, pale morning duns, yellow sallies, golden stones, and green drakes.

FLOWS: Tahoe City 370 CFS, Glenshire 377 CFS, and Farad Exit 497 CFS
