With the low water levels, launching a boat at Stampede is difficult, but doable. Stampede has great Kokanee fishing right now. Anglers can find Kokanee in front of the dam in 40-60 feet of water. Below the kokanee, anglers can find cutthroat, rainbows, and macks in 60-100 feet of water. Shore anglers are fishing by the boat ramp and dam with powerbait, worms, and small lures. The bass bite is also still good at Stampede. Anglers looking for bass can find them near any of the rocky points using crawdad patterns and small jigs.
Stampede Reservoir is currently at 38% capacity.
