Donner Lake is picking up for boat anglers and some nice lake trout are being caught right now. Boat anglers fishing for lake trout are having success trolling or jigging in the 60 to 100-foot water column. There’s also a decent Kokanee bite for boat anglers. The kokanee bite is happening at various depths. Shore anglers at Donner Lake are having some success near the boat ramp using powerbait or nightcrawlers. Donner Lake is currently at 78% capacity.
